Thanks to some wonderful seeds from Amber and Karen, our garden is growing. It is so nice to have fresh vegetables to eat! We went 9 days without rain, but we managed to water it with our used dish and laundry water. I have never loved rain so much. I even took my first real "rain shower" when the rain came back. I literally used it to wash my hair.

Hi Brian and Kristy - It's so exciting to see all of these new posts and pictures! I check all of the time to see if there are any updates, though I'm sure it's not often that you get to access a computer. It seems like you guys are having an enjoyable experience over there and it's awesome that you get to document it so that we can all share in a small part of it. Keep the updates coming when you can, and know that we are enjoying them.
